Event Oblivion

Mastodon is one of those bands. Having spent five years doing heavy metal radio, it takes something special to pay attention to a band, because i think there comes a point when you listen to music and think "That band sounds like Pantera, that band sounds like Sepultura, that band sounds like Weezer's first album mixed with some earlier David Lee Roth solo stuff. Mastodon cuts through for me. I appreciate them.
